Resin Overlay

Now whilst we would not normally advise you do it this way it is perfectly possible to overlay an existing patio with resin providing a few things have been checked first. So today we used anti crack mesh with Vuba Resin which is moisture tolerant and UV protected. The first thing you have to consider is what are you laying on top of and in this case its existing patio slabs. So before we put down the mesh we check to make sure that the existing patio is stable and secure there are there are no moving slabs. This is important because we don't want any movement which could cause the Resin in the future to lift or crack. Providing this is the case then you are good to start overlaying. The colour we used here is Manhattan which is darker but has a lovely shine to it in the sun and we finished the look with Porcelain Paving Slabs for the steps. Within a few hours we had a back garden space completely transformed.
